Dwight staff ended the year by celebrating with a catered lunch from Aramark Catering! Celebrations included being named a CKH National Showcase School and meeting our school goal for literacy!

Events happening this week at Dwight...
Tuesday, May 21st - Field Day begins at 8:15 and includes water games! Bring an extra change of clothes and shoes to change into afterwards.
Thursday, May 23rd - 1st through 3rd grade awards assembly will be held at 9:00 in the cafeteria. In the afternoon, school will dismiss 90 minutes early for staff to attend a district end of year meeting. This means walkers will dismiss at approximately 1:35 p.m. and car riders will dismiss at 1:40 p.m. Bus riders will leave campus at approximately 2:05 p.m.
Friday, May 24th - Kindergarten graduation will be held at The Center for the Arts at 9:00 a.m. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. 4th grade promotion will be held at The Center for the Arts at 11:00 a.m. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. That afternoon, 3rd grade will have a family picnic and kickball game on our playground at 12:15 p.m.

Dwight 3rd and 4th graders celebrated their effort on the end of year assessments with some pool-side relaxation! Thank you, Russellville Aquatic Center, for hosting the Lil' Cyclone celebration!

Here is the list of prizes for each round of Bingo along with rules for the evening. Join us Friday at 6pm!


Join us for Bingo Night at Dwight Elementary on Friday, March 29th at 6pm!
Dinner will be served for $5.00. Each Bingo card is $1 for regular rounds and $5 for bonus rounds! Watch for a prize list to be published later this week! Kids Club for children in kindergarten through 4th grade will be available for $10.00 per child which includes dinner and supervised activities while parents play Bingo! Raffle ticket drawings will be held at the end of the evening for $500 cash and $250 PDQ gas card!
Raffle tickets are on sale now for $1.00 each! We have a school-wide goal to sell 1000 raffle tickets. If we reach that goal, we will have a celebration for all students! Raffle tickets can be purchased from any student and are also available for purchase in our office or from any staff member!
RSD Elementary students and teachers received a Go-Dog-Go send off for Spring Break! Thank you to all the individuals who provided the opportunity to visit the Center for the Arts.
