
Mrs. Pruitt's class has been studying different environments around the world & are working on designing a shoe (for a traveler) that will have 2 or 3 adaptations to help with protection, etc.

Kindergarten students are having a great time on their field trip to The Wonder Place in Little Rock!


Students from Arkansas Tech University donated food for our pantry during Greek Week. We are very appreciative for the kindness they showed our school!

Mrs. Dilbeck's class sold the most Fun Fair raffle tickets so they got the pleasure of taping Mrs. Donna to the wall in the cafeteria during lunch today! She was a very good sport about it!





The 3rd Quarter Awards Assembly will be held on Thursday, April 5. Please notice the change in assembly times: K-2 will be held from 8:30-9:00 and 3-4 will be held from 9:30-10:00.


Dwight Movie Night is coming up on Friday, April 6! Be looking for a note in your child's backpack this afternoon!

Dwight K-2 students enjoyed listening to a pig presentation from Mr. Joe Wolfe of JBS. He even brought two piglets for students to pet!





Russellville School District will be closed on Monday, March 19-Friday, March 23 for Spring Break. Classes will resume on Monday, March 26. The district wishes everyone a safe & happy Spring Break.


Yesterday was a beautiful day to do some observational drawing outside during art class with Mrs. Huckabay!

Mrs. Pruitt's first graders have been learning about how animals & plants adapt to their environments in order to survive. They investigated which “beaks” were best for picking up different “foods”.
