$10,000 GRANT AWARDED

THE CENTER FOR THE ARTS FOUNDATION  RECEIVES $10,000 GRANT

RUSSELLVILLE, AR - The Center for the Arts Foundation has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the Russellville Advertising and Promotion Commission.  Christie Graham, Russellville A & P Executive Director, recently made the presentation to Chrissy Clayton, Executive Director, and The Center for the Arts Foundation Board of Directors at their monthly meeting.

“The Russellville Tourism and Visitor’s Center is proud to be a continuous supporter of The Center for the Arts and all the wonderful productions they bring to our community.  We value the partnership and investment they bring to Russellville,” said Graham.

The Center for the Arts Foundation was formed as a unique partnership with Russellville School District in the operation and use of The Center for the Arts.  The mission of The Center Foundation is to provide opportunities to enjoy, have access to, and benefit from cultural experiences related to live performances through music, dance, art, theatre and other entertainment.

As a not-for-profit organization, The Center Foundation relies heavily on support from donors, sponsors, members, and the generosity of individuals, corporations, and foundations to help fill the gap, as ticket sales will cover only a portion of the operating costs of events. Thanks to the generosity of Russellville A & P and others, The Center for the Arts Foundation is excited to continue providing great opportunities for art and entertainment in the Russellville area.

The Center for the Arts kicked off the 2023-24 season on August 5th with the Gaither Vocal Band Concert. Zach Williams and Riley Clemmons will take the stage on Thursday, September 28th and Comedian Tim Hawkins will be live on Sunday, October 29th.  The Foundation, in conjunction with the Russellville A & P, are pleased to present The Fabulous Equinox Orchestra’s Holiday Soiree on Monday, December 19th and Hotel California Eagles Tribute Show on Tuesday, February 13th at 7:00pm. Tickets are available online at www.russellvillecenter.net.
